This is a series of trainings designed to support in the development of spokespeople for your organization, participants will learn how to craft their stories and prepare to share it with different audiences.

In this course, participants will learn how to think out of the box in order to put their creative ideas and skills towards projects that can have an impact in people’s everyday lives.

In this course I share my own lessons from working in and outside of academia for the past 17 years. Participants will learn how to engage audiences and communities outside of academia with their work.

This course is designed to be a practical and hands on experience with mindfulness tools for the workplace. Participants will learn the fundamental values of mindfulness and how to apply them at work.

• Strategies to bring more balance between work and life

I was a student once and also founded my own community based project, I know that good communications can get you a long way! This class was inspired by a request that came from student organizers.

What you will get out of this course:

• A free hands on workshop with an overview of key communications tools that will increase the visibility of your efforts.

• We will go over key tools to develop messaging, media relations, pitching, key documents and digital actions.

Requisites & conditions:

• You have to be a student organization, a community based collective or a non-profit organization in its first year of formation.

• This workshop is only available once a month.
